Lorene had the good fortune of singing under masterful choir directors as a youth. A songwriting class at the University of Oregon inspired her to begin a personal hobby of creating an occasional song.  The Western Hymn Writers Workshop offered yet another venue of creative effort. She appreciates the opportunity to sit among and learn from a truly talented group of hymn writers.
